Get The Job You Want, Even When No One’s Hiring

Your Job Search Survival Toolkit

Below is a very important collection of documents and resources, which you can use to create your Job Search Survival Toolkit.

These materials are featured in the book “Get The Job You Want, Even When No One’s Hiring.” For information about the book or to place an order, click here.

Be sure to bookmark this page and save all these items to your computer for future reference.

Download Tips

We have found that different browsers download files in slightly different ways. Here are some important guidelines:

1. It’s best to right-click (control-click on Mac) on the links below, then select the choice that lets you download the file to your computer. This choice has different names in different browsers; for example: “Save file as…”, “Save link as…”, “Save target as…”

2. Make sure that your files keep the exact filenames as downloaded. In particular, the filenames must have the proper extensions – “.docx” for Word documents, and “.xlxs” for Excel forms – otherwise, you may not be able to open and use the files correctly.
